Quick note: since I am currently in an Advanced Placement Human Geography, we are studying various parts of culture, and because of this class, I may make some edits to the guide in time :)

The SunWings are currently a CLOSED species.

General Description:

Appearance:
Coloration-SunWings commonly come in earth related colors such as brown, beige, tan, auburn, etc. They sometimes have markings on any part of their scales. Bright colors and excessively pale colors are quite rare. Eye color ranges from reddish amber to light green and hazel.

Frills-Frills have intricate and unique designs with no two tribe members having the same design. These designs depend on their parents'. An individual's designs are most prominent when born, when they are at their full display.

Physique-SunWings are small, lithe dragons with long, muscular legs designed for scaling mountains, running on sand and rough grass, and running after prey with shorter necks than usual tribes. Narrow, falcon-like wings aid in tunneling currents, speedy dives, and short range flight.

Talons- SunWing talons are supported by strong ankle bones and tendons with thick claws used to dig into thick animal hides and dig into terrain with little to no damage to the claws. the undersides of the talons are very rough, designed to
grip onto rocks, cliffs, and run on the tough savannah terrain.

Mutations/unusual Appearances- Occasionally, Sunwings are born with appearance altering conditions, even though they are often extremely rare. These conditions include but are not exclusive to Heterochromia, Melanism, Albinism, and Vilitigo.

Abilities:
Frills-SunWings are most known for their frills that can be flayed out using quick muscles and a high pitched shriek they often use when ambushing prey or other dragons, but is most often used to communicate in a non-verbal language.

Flight-Narrow wings aid in extremely agile flight patterns.

Fire/Toxicity-SunWing population divides half the dragons as being "fire-spitters", and the other being "poison-spitters", this poison, not working like a RainWing's venom, but as a toxic bite.

Monarchy:

SunWings use the classic Pyrrhian monarchy system of a queen ruling over a tribe. The current queen however accepts the guidance of her husband, the king, and high ranking talon picked military officials. After selective breeding, the royal family inherited the flame patterns that appear on their wings, and the complex designs on their frills that are painted over to make them stand out.

Queen Corona-Coming to rule at age 12 after her mother was 68,Corona married to King Helios and later had Princess Granule and Prince Sol as her first royal offspring, and she deeply cares for them. Corona is a more involved queen, often leading soldiers into battle and heading out on diplomatic missions. She is sometimes seems to rule casually and treats all her subjects with high regard, a habit she picked up when being neglected by her mother who was not keen on raising dragonets. As of recently, she has been getting better with acting like a queen yet still being respectful. Whenever Corona feels she is getting "soft" she requests her four highest commanders, Loess, Eucalyptus, Salamander, and Jaguar, along with her husband Helios to battle with her and not to quit until they are utterly exhausted. Her only rule is that of no bloodshed. She has only used one of the three animus gifts once, this was when a fire storm was spotted on the horizon that she moved with The Gift of Disaster to the SkyWing Kingdom, which the tribe was battling a war with at the time of use.

King Helios-Meeting Corona at only 8 years of age, he encouraged her challenging the throne, since the previous queen had declining health due to paranoia of being poisoned, and her sister, Granule, already having failed her challenge. He and Corona married with him joining the Ibeji royal family. After 5 years, they decided on bringing heirs into the family. Helios is highly regarded in the SunWing military as being a brilliant military leader. He accepts his title of King but holds the rank of Captain, and is head of the army, right below Corona. Together, they invested in weaponry and low-casualty fighting styles to reduce SunWing deaths in times of war. He has rich golden scales with shimmering hints of ruby in his scales that can faintly be seen in sunlight, along with darker auburn armor scales.

Princess Granule-Named after Corona's fallen sister, Granule carries her lost aunt's personality, being rather steadfast, ornery, and equalizing, seeing herself as an ordinary SunWing. She respects her mother greatly and cannot fathom the possibility of killing her for a stressful spot on the throne. During passing, Granule took notice of a reddish auburn SunWing named Beryl and developed feelings toward her, later ending up with Beryl returning them. She later looks back embarrassed of her nervous and giddy distant affections. Originally, Corona was hesitant with the marriage of Beryl and Granule, fearing the possibility of no future heirs left to take her place. Granule is an auburn orange with very feint darker auburn circles on her scales.

Princess Ascella- Being the middle dragonet in the family, Ascella has always thought she had to excel above her hatchmates, learning how to fly and use Ejati much quicker than other SunWing dragonets, quickly becoming independent. She had respect for her parents, especially her father, taking after many things he did, such as military knowledge, and closeness with many dragons and palace inhabitants. Due to her competitive nature with her siblings, she has a very straightforward, cunning, perceptive, and determined overall personality. Because of this, she is expected and predicted to become the next SunWing queen. She is a striking darker scaled SunWing, with dark auburn scales and ruby freckles all along her body, apparently catching the eyes of any dragon she meets.

Prince Sol-Being the youngest in his clutch, Sol prefers to keep to himself reading scrolls and writing genealogy patterns. Whenever Helios has free time, the two can often be seen spending time with each other throughout the palace. Every once in a while, Corona takes interest in the findings of Sol's research and appreciates his effort in sorting the tribe's history.

Prince Alioth-Oldest in his clutch, Alioth took immediate interest in the workings of SunWing military, eventually becoming a frequent visitor to the queen's four commanders as soon as he learned how to fly. Alioth enjoys meeting other tribes and learning about them, taking special interest in mannerisms and military workings. Even though it may seem his intents are malicious, it is the opposite, as he is a very docile and tolerant. He is often described as incredibly handsome, with light golden brown scales and very faint lighter spots.

Prince Corvus- With Corvus as the youngest dragonet in the royal family, he is often seen as reclusive, preferring to be around close friends and maybe one of his siblings. However, Corvus is perfectly fine not receiving as much attention as his siblings, often times forgetting he is a prince. When with his family, he is very quiet and formal, but when with a smaller group of dragons in a non-formal setting, he is incredibly aloof and upbeat, a stark contrast.

Landmarks and Import SunWings:

Landmarks:
The Sun Palace-carved and built from pure sandstone, the palace is in the mountain and in the sun's rays, with pristine white marble pillars around it. The royal throne and quarters are closest to the sun, with the queen's throne being made of twisting golden branches that radiate the sun's glow. The nearby royal hatchery is designed to heat the royal eggs to a comfortable and healthy temperature. The palace is supported slightly by The Gift of Stability, otherwise, the palace is sturdy to the point of little damage if bombed with dragonflame cactus. At varying times of the year, the palace retains heat for inhabitants inside, leading to an ever comfortable temperature for the citizens who live or work in the palace. Diplomatic meeting are often held in the queen's throne room, otherwise, they are held in the great palace hall if the meeting is felt to be hostile.

The Hall of The Ancients-The Hall of The Ancients is a tribute to the 10 great ancestors of the SunWings, documenting their contributions to the tribe and celebrating their life's work, as well as serving as the final resting place for them, with life like statues standing on top of their graves, giving tribute to them. This Hall is the most treasured place of the palace and the Sun Kingdom, as SunWings hold the contributions of their ancestors close, and so is heavily protected. It is located in the mountain of which the Sun Palace is built, which was used in ancient times by the Ancestors to rest and work as well as hold meetings and other purposes.

The Hatchery of the Future: Built in early times, the hatchery is a large cavern located near a lava bed, cooling the rock cavern. All citizens may house their dragonets in the cavern if they so choose. The cavern has a singular hole in the roof, allowing sunlight to be scattered with the use of mirrors, along with notches in the walls used to heat up older eggs and to cradle them when they hatch, dips in the floor and dips made in beds of hay or grass help to keep track of the eggs of certain parents. Tenders are chosen commonly by the queen to document and look after the hatchlings. Every day, these tenders carefully rotate eggs allowing sunlight to be evenly distributed. Sometimes, mostly in times of war, eggs are sometimes abandoned or are taken in as they are found to have their parents killed in the war. These eggs are in a single large cluster in the center, unnamed. When these orphans hatch, they are commonly offered to new parents when they arrive to take their dragonet home, sometimes, these dragonets grow older and become attached to their tender, resulting in fostering or adoption. If tenders accidentally forget to rotate an egg, lose an egg, or accidentally crack or step on one, then their punishments can range from a week in prison, to death.

The Crystal Falls-Located near The Sun Palace, the Crystal falls are opposite of the source of the Great River. The falls are used to determine the state of the nearby land, using the clearness of the water and the flow of it to determine if changes should be made in farming techniques or waste disposal. In times of drought, the falls are described as being a shadow, with a feint trickle of water with moss growing around the source. The falls are one of the tributaries of The Winding Tail river. If the tribe observes scavengers acting irresponsible with the water, they either direct it, or stand close by and hiss and growl when they do something to the water the tribe doesn't like, like polluting and building dams.

The Diorite City-Being part of The Sun Palace, the city is home to the housing of palace workers as well as dragons who pursue more sophisticated occupations such as gem carving, silk weaving, jewelers, and many other jobs. Often times, dragons live here due to their high status and amount of riches in possession. Multiple schools are housed in The Diorite city, allowing for dragonets from all over the Sun Kingdom to come and further their knowledge. If possible, school is paid for with a small fee, but there are schools in place to serve poorer dragons. It is often expected to never use fire in the city unless for cooking or lighting candles. Traders from all around Pyrrhia often come to the city to see the wide variety of cultural diversity.

Important SunWings:
Queen Ibeji-The first SunWing queen, she traveled in exile from the Sky Kingdom down to their current territory, making sure she helped as many dragons like her as she could. Whenever their were dragonets in the group, she would always protect them closely and carry them if they ever got tired or ill, often times carrying eggs for mothers unable to. She heavily encouraged the building of the new sub-tribe, promising a bright future for the dragons and their descendants.

Queen Jacana- an ancient queen, she helped in guiding the three animus gifts, working with the animus dragons to carefully consider the power their magic holds. She also is a dragon that changed the royal family to another, her mother being in the Ibeji family, and Jacana marrying into the Yemoja family, challenging her mother and successfully being the first to change the royal family name.

Duma- A commander in ancient times, he led conquest to gain more territory for his tribe, taking heavy influence from the ancient dragons Agayu and Oya. He helped to claim new territory, from only holding territory in the middle of The Claws of the Clouds Mountains near a scavenger den, to expanding into the Sky and Sand Kingdoms and in the middle of the Great River. He also helped to establish permanent settlements in this new territory, earning begrudging respect the SandWings and hate from the SkyWings.

History:

Queen Aether:
Around 15,000 years ago, a SkyWing queen named Queen Aether was fascinated by scavengers and was considered quite lazy. Her rein was around -3,089 BS (before Scorching) and she planned on ridding the scavengers from her mountains, and requested an alliance from Queen Senna of the SandWings in exchange for materials and riches. Armies were mixed together and over time, this resulted in cross tribe breeding, resulting in Sand/SkyWing hybrids. By the time Queen Aether caught wind of this, there had reportedly been 129 dragonets. Outraged, Queen Aether exiled all hybrids and ordered her SkyWings to kill any hybrids in her territory, ending with the numbers dropping to 62. Other parents ushered their dragonets to live on their own quite early.

The Suns and their Kingdom:
When the hybrids were exiled, they were all rejected from either one of their parent tribes, resulting them to flee into disputed territory, being dangerously close to a scavenger den. When they decided on the territory they would shelter in, their numbers diminished down to 59 orphans. Since they lived near the mountain peaks, they named themselves "The Suns". In their early years, they received ridicule from their neighboring tribes, but quickly gained their privacy by threatening to block Certain tributaries of The Great River. Over time, this group came together under the tribe name of the SunWings, with their first Queen being Queen Ibeji.

 Ancestry:
When first formed, the SunWings had 10 main leaders of the small tribe. These dragons proved to be vital when it came to helping their newly formed tribe. During their outlaw years, they were constantly provoked by both Sky and SandWings, often enduring constant attacks, but always determined to stay on their mountain. Upon death, they were laid to rest in the palace in The Hall of The Ancients, a monument to honor the deceased dragons that guided their tribe toward greatness.

Agayu- Agayu was responsible for developing early defenses for the tribe. He also aided in developing weapons to defend the tribe and the citizens of it. A skilled dragon in military strategy, he made sure there were little to no casualties, taking pride in teaching the citizens to defend their tribe.

Batala- Batala was a smart dragon who helped to develop the modern code of Ejati, taking heavy inspiration from the SeaWing's use of Aquatic. She encouraged the conservation of the language, aiding in the development of modern SunWings, working very closely with her mate, Osbun.

Ibeji- Ibeji cared dearly for the young hybrids in the early tribe and would go out of her way to make sure they were well. She and Olorum worked to band together the exiled hybrids, Olorum being her beloved mate and a natural leader. Ibeji was a dragoness who was a natural leader for her friends that were cast from their kingdoms. She considered herself and her friends blessed that they had the opportunity to create a new way of life and possibly Sub-Tribe. Ibeji had the ability to help strengthen new SunWing generations as well as abandoned hybrid nests. Being a natural leader, Ibeji constantly thought of ways to keep her tribe safe, including motivating them to stick together, all of this causing her massive panic attacks on occasion.

Lunayae- Lunayae lived with her medic parents up until the very bitter end. In this time, she learned the causes of diseases and worked with the other ancestors to detect the inbreeding dangers as well as various diseases the tribe could be susceptible to, which she worked to cure.

Olokun- Olokun is a classic 'find riches' type of dragon, and he used this trait about himself to develop an economy for his tribe, as well as keeping check on the other ancestors, making sure that their power didn't go to their heads.

Olorum- Olorum was one of the oldest tribe members, being one of the first hybrids to escape their certain death. He met Ibeji on the run and they had an instant connection. He made sure to protect the early tribe and organize it. He was described to have had a knack for tribe governments and suave personality. Olorum was considered to be the most common ancestor when it came to SunWing lineage as he had unique side scales, and slightly venomous bite. As the desire to become an individual tribe grew, breeding requirements were established to help the tribe become one in appearance. Olorum was said to have 15 mates in his lifetime along with fathering 52 dragonets. He is revered as being the most loyal SunWing to ever be documented.

Osbun- Osbun sometimes considered himself to be the tiniest bit NightWing, blaming his predictions of the future nearly always coming true a contributing factor. He was always optimistic when it came to the future of his tribe, mapping out how they could achieve the ideal SunWing, capable of unique abilities and survivability on the savanna. He was often helped in guidance by his mate Batala.

Oxosi- Oxosi had been a loner all her life, choosing to live by herself, but this changed when she discovered hybrids like her, which she sheltered and agreed to work with, displaying her abilities to keep wild animals in line in non-violent ways. She was quite important to the population and traits being passed down, taking census by drawing each member of the tribe with startling accuracy, working closely with Osbun and Batala.

Oya- Oya was raised to defend himself, fighting tooth and claw if he needed to, and he wasn't afraid to display his ferocity. Born with large SkyWing wings, he used this to fly in unique methods, teaching members of his tribe to avoid attacks and to strike fast.

Yemoja- Yemoja was quite the smooth dragon, joking she was part SeaWing as she was incredibly street smart, using the emotions of others to keep peace or get what she wanted. She worked with Olorum to establish peace with other tribes, handling their diplomacy for the good of the citizens.

The Animus Legends:
A near 500 years after the formation of the SunWings, a stray SunWing had an unfortunate encounter with a SkyWing animus carrier, resulting in 5 hybrid dragonets, three of them being rare animus's. When they grew up, they gave their tribe three gifts.

The Gift of The Future- A decorated staff that two dragons hold, each at opposite ends, to tell if they are too closely related. This gift was created due to the issue of inbreeding by the accidental scattering of family trees. The Gift considerably led the tribe toward their modern genetic diversity and their current traits.

The Gift of Stability-A carved granite statue of Ibeji  with her talons seemingly in place to hold up the palace. Enchanted to forever keep the palace stable and protected from earthquakes and the improper building of the time of creation.

The Gift of Disaster-A decorated spear only the Queen may use to locate certain natural disasters and divert
them elsewhere, such as wildfires, tornados, etc. This gift is often only used in times of war, otherwise, disasters are located toward the mouth of The Winding Tail River.

The three animus's wish not to pass on their magic and they died with their potential forever within them.

The Famine of Queen Thistle:
A near 200 years after the overthrowing of Queen Jacana, Queen Thistle was faced with the terrifying reality of a deadly famine that was spread across the Kingdom suspected to be caused by the crossing of traveling SandWing traders. In order to prevent further casualty, sickly dragons were quarantined to the very Northern end of the Sun Kingdom, where they were attempted to be healed or where they would hope to live, but most infected would die. This famine spread through the air and water, causing respiratory problems, aching muscles, bloody vomit, urine, and fecal matter, as well as the inability for blood to clot properly. This disease effected dragonets and elderly dragons more severely, but could effect any demographic. As much as medics tried to find a cure, one was never found and eventually it faded into time as one of the most disturbing events in SunWing history.

The Secret Massacre of Queen Topi:
Since she was a small dragonet, Topi believed the plague was cursed upon the SunWings by animus magic with illegal use using the Gift of Disaster. When she dethroned her mother, she was openly a very soft, caring queen but in secret, she relentlessly and violently tried to figure out what caused the plague that killed her five other siblings and father. She would secretly hire SunWings to kidnap royal SeaWings, to which, Topi would torture in attempt to find answers. When this yielded little results, she would scour the Kingdom for odd looking SunWings, believing they were secret decedents of The Three Animus's, torturing then like the SeaWings for any information. To cover her tracks, she would destroy any evidence of her tortured citizen's existence, this led to many documented family trees and lines being scattered or misplaced, effects of which still resound in present times. Eventually, her horrific crimes were discovered, causing her daughter to murder her mother, much to the tribe's relief and wellbeing.

Life and Society:

Mates and Family:
Mates-When SunWings form a partnership, they usually confirm their ability to safely have offspring by using The Gift of The Future. These partnerships include, but are not exclusive to: same-sex partnerships and different-sex partnerships. Poly partnerships are incredibly rare as well are hybrids, as they are seen as disrespectful to the ancestors who worked so hard to make the SunWings a Sub-Tribe.

Hatchlings-Often times, having clutches have between 2-6 eggs in them, with the pregnancy of a female being 5 months, and an incubation period of slightly over a year. (considering a pyrrhian year is 12 months). The small gestation period is attributed to the female's need to be flexible in order to hunt for herself and complete daily activities. Often times, a female may not even seem to be expecting, considering early eggs to be rather small, growing slightly in size due to incubation. Same-sex partners often adopt from The Hatchery. When dragonets hatch, they have soft, gecko like scales with the frill design being most prominent color of black or dark brown until their first shedding which occurs around 2 years of age. Rural SunWings are often susceptible to being preyed upon by predatory animals such as lions, hyenas, alligators, and hawks, leading to a high dragonet mortality rate. Urban dragonets and rural dragonets like to scale down mountainsides if available that teach them balancing techniques, quick flight takeoff, and talon endurance.

Housing-SunWing families live either near cities or within palace boundaries or live elsewhere in Sun Kingdom territory. In urban areas, homes are constructed with limestone bricks or bricks of various other stones found in the region. With this method, it is often safer to do this in a planned area that is relatively flat. In rural areas, villages are often dug out from hillsides and mountains, built in burrows, or built in grass huts. Other distant families choose these methods, use a pre-dug burrow, under tree roots, or make a camouflaged house on the plains.

Naming-Names are often chosen based upon the designs a dragonet has. They are also named after their overall appearance. Swahili names are also used, but are becoming less common in modern times. Dragonets are named after certain plants, animals, gemstones, metals, precious metals, natural resources, precious minerals, and terms relating to the sun and astrology. Clutches are commonly named after related objects or terms (Ascella, Alioth, and Corvus being named after stars for example.)

Education-Typically, when dragonets reach the age of 3 or 4, they are sometimes sent to be taught in schools either in larger cities or at the palace. The Diorite City being the most common choice. Higher education is provided at the palace, with courses that focus more on particular skills such as blacksmithing, craftsmanship, and many other professions. Average education involves learning basic reading and writing, Ejati, math, basic sciences, history, and other extracurricular activities such as weaving, pottery, painting, drawing, and various others.

Marriage-When two dragons decide to marry, they can choose whose family they would like to be in, basing their choice on the spouse's family members as well as a preference to another family based on personality traits. When two dragons marry, they are together for life, remarrying if their spouse dies, if they chose. Divorces are extremely rare.

Culture:

Ejati-A language developed in the ancient times by Batala based on the ideal SunWing created by Osbun, Ejati is nonverbal, with individuals identifying their right frill as a dot and the left as a dash. The code is used like the American Morse Code, using the alphabet to communicate. When conversing with another Ejati user, often times vowels are left out in order to shorten the order of words signed out (HW R U = How are you?), users often display the tone of the conversation by hunching/relaxing their shoulders, darkening/lightening their frills as well as basic frowning and smiling. Rural SunWings are often very skilled in the use of the language, signing incredibly quickly, while urban dragons are more sluggish. 99% of the population are taught, and use Ejati.

Artificial Appearance-SunWings often have small jewels or tapestries, often in shades contrasting their earthtone scales as well as minor tattoos, commonly in black and around their talons, horns, or diamond scales. The small jewels are sometimes embedded in the scales as well as bended into pendants or necklaces. Rarely, in an act of true love, a dragon will spend a while finding and killing a dragonbite viper, skinning it and making it into a necklace in order to give it to their partner signifying their willingness to risk their life for the other.

Military-For as long as the SunWings have existed, their military has always been based on low SunWing casualties and dealing maximum damage to their enemies. Depending on where a SunWing was raised, they may be more inclined to fight in the military at any given time, factors including being either in an independent rural village or an authority respecting urban city. Soldiers are often allowed to join when they reach the ages of 7 or 8.
Techniques- SunWings often fight in the air but are very skilled in ambush attacks and land combat. Due to their small size, they are able to dodge attacks very easily and be able to move swiftly. When first meeting an enemy, they shriek with their frills flared. Due to their population ranging between poisonous and flammable, when they bite an enemy, they use their abilities, either flaying magma or injecting venom.
Weaponry-Forging from iron, copper, or other materials, SunWings are able to possess various accessories. For talons, SunWings are either given knives, serrated knives, or sheathes, which are small extremely sharp blades that are held between the middle toes and fastened on the palm. Air combat can be aided with wing blades, used for flight agility, or tail blades that are commonly knives, fastened for use in acrobatic combat.
Ranking-In SunWing military, ranks are identified by the color of helmet an individual wears. Common soldiers wear tin helmets, a weak metal. Messengers wear Nickel helmets with an engravement on the metal, making them easy to identify in battle. Sergeants wear copper helmets. Lieutenants wear brass helmets. Colonels wear iron helmets. Generals wear Titanium helmets with engravings.
Soldiers-Common average military SunWings little to no power, usually in squadrons of 4-7.
Messengers-Same ranking as a soldier, can be in a squadron of soldiers.
Sergeants-Dragons that command an average of 10-15 squadrons.
    Lieutenants-Command average of 10 Sergeants.
Colonels-Command 20 Lieutenants. Work with Queen and Generals.
Generals-Command an average of 1/4 of an army or less. Currently 5 Generals, one being King Helios.

Interractions-SunWings are like most tribes, they hold siblings close along with friends and immediate family members. In society, actions like cheek rubbing, talon and wing brushes, talon shakes, or forehead meeting if the action is that of affection. Strangers are addressed with fair distance, leaving physical interaction for friendship or romantic intentions. In society, body language is vital, with certain actions holding various meetings, such as stretched neck and broader talon steps relating to anxiety. Various sounds like purrs and chuffs can be related to contentment.

Recreation-Starting when they are dragonets, the SunWings prefer recreational sports that improve their skills.
-Mountain Running: After hatching and being allowed to explore, SunWing dragonets like to scale down the mountains available in the kingdom. This activity helps to strengthen ankles and teach the dragonets to be able to handle pain and consequences. Mountain running involves running down mountainsides using rocks and cliff ledges to stand. When dragons slip, they learn to fly quickly in hurried situations.
-Board Games: SunWings are able to create and play board games, often talon made, with boards ranging from Acacia wood to thin balsa, along with marbles and small wooden sculptures as game pieces.
-Music: Like SandWings, SunWings enjoy music and playing instruments. These instruments include the Kora, Shekere, Algaita, Pipe flutes, bongos, and other instruments contribute to a unique and interesting music style. When music is performed, it isn't uncommon to see dragons dancing or singing along, singing especially being a valued talent.
-Material Arts: SunWings enjoy painting, sculpting, glassblowing, and other arts by using the materials in their environment. Traders often make a healthy profit from finding a quality recipe of paints, canvas creation, or clay material.

Diet-SunWings are mainly carnivores but can sometimes eat various crops. Animals such as Ibex, goats, elephants, hippopotamuses, meerkats, hares, and other animals are regularly eaten for dietary consumption.

Societal Rankings- SunWings base any sort of ranking to how close they are to the important decision makers of the tribe, as well as the Sun Palace, they can also be placed based on their talents. Commonly, rural SunWings, farmers, and other lower class workers are low ranking, while SunWings who are medics, scientists, bankers, and other professions are higher ranked.

Relations/Alliances:

IceWings- SunWings rarely interact with IceWings, so remain neutral.

MudWings- Due to close boundaries, the two tribe sometimes interact but occasionally trade crops and livestock.

NightWings- Because of the experimentation on the AveWings and RainWings, the Sunwings have a strong disliking toward NightWings and avoid them at all costs.

RainWings- SunWings admire the RainWings for their beauty, but still believe in the laziness stigma, and so they don't interact often, but sometimes SunWings buy various jungle fruits and herbs

SandWings- Because of the shared love of music, SunWings often attend festivals and trade with the SandWings.

SeaWings- SunWings generally like to share literature and scientific study with SeaWings, often taking interest in various sea artifacts.

SkyWings- Due to a strained history with The Three Animus's and tribe origin, SkyWings and SunWings have a mutual disliking toward one another, often times getting into border skirmishes.

AveWings- SunWings have had an alliance with the AveWings for many years, to the point of rooms being specially built for them. SunWings enjoy listening to AveWing choral performances and value the unique weaving abilities they possess.

FlareWings- The SunWings have had a strong alliance with the FlareWings for many generations. The two tribes aften freely visit one another, even the queens having a pleasant friendship. SunWings often trade gemstones, weapons and pyrotechnics between each other.

RazorWings- SunWings don't often interact with the RazorWings due to hostility with the IceWings, but they are very respecting toward the tribe, noting their abilities to spit metal and unique anatomy. Occasionally, the two tribes share information and scientific study.
